Cardi B is yet again making people on the internet mad. The rapper posted an Instagram story of herself twerking on the statue of a beloved character from the Nickelodeon show Rugrats, and of course it’s making the rounds on social media. The character in question? Grandpa Lou Pickles, beloved patriarch of the Pickles family.
Cardi, along with her husband Offset, were at the American Dream Mall in New Jersey celebrating their daughter Kulture’s 5th birthday. She took a minute out of her celebrating to do what she does best: twerk.
In the video, she can be seen standing in front of Grandpa Lou, twerking and smacking her butt.
While some people thought the moment was funny, most people thought her actions were in bad taste.
“It sickens me they are making kids things sexual, every single day,” someone said.
“We continue to race to the bottom everyday. I thought the goal was to be rich so you so you don’t have to do stuff like this for attention,” another person said.
“And kids probably seeing that smh,” a person commented.
The mall trip was just one part of Kulture’s 5th birthday celebration. She even got to meet Queen Poppy from the Trolls movies!
“My baby is five🥹….Happy birthday to my pretty princess. It’s beautiful seeing my girl grow yet makes me a lil sad that my baby is not my little baby no more.💖🎀🍰🎂5️⃣..light lil turn up today till the weekend🎉🥳🎈,” she captioned her Instagram post.
The post included photos of Kulture, dressed as a ballerina, posing for the camera. In one photo, she is posing in front of a pink piano with a pink Hermès Birkin bag placed on top.
