A$AP Rocky has always been one of the more eclectic faces in hip-hop. The self-proclaimed “Fashion Killa” can regularly be seen in the front row of the hottest runway shows. He’s also been linked to some of the industry’s most buzzing models and artists. The rapper released his most recent album Testing this year, which was as experimental as we’ve ever heard him on a full-length project. We’ve known that Rocky likes to dabble in hallucinogens and it turns out he’s also pretty experimental in his life.
During a recent interview with Esquire, the artist spoke about everything from a $100K bed he designed for his house, fashion, tripping out with Skepta, and intimacy. Back to the $100K bed in his home, Rocky says he made it to accommodate a large number of women that he hosts for those events.
“I need it because I have a lot of them at my house with some very close female companions,” he said. The artist continued by detailing his first experience, saying, “My first time was when I was in seventh grade. Thirteen years old. Yeah, I was at Booker T. Washington [High School] in New York City.
My dad had went to jail, so my mom moved us to a homeless shelter on 104th and Broadway. Our school was like three blocks away, and they used to let us out for lunch, for 45 minutes. The first time was in this apartment building. We took the elevator to the roof, and everybody put their coats on the ground. There were like five girls and 10 guys, and we all just took turns.”
